Hot Clips 3 is the third installment in PEAK's ongoing live series. It is a straight-up modern jam band live album. It was culled from a handful of shows throughout 2023 and features some of the band's favorite recent performances. What we're looking for in a jam is group interaction; the transcendent moments cannot be forced, they have to happen organically like a good conversation. The songs range from some older PEAK staples to unreleased ones that will be on the next studio album. There are also a couple of covers- a completely reimagined version of Woody Guthrie's Pastures of Plenty and a stretched-out take on the Led Zeppelin classic The Song Remains the Same. PEAK plans to hit the road hard again in 2024. They are currently in the studio this January (2024) working on their next studio album.
